Giving
The Perfect Example
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:19-21
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Giving
The ideas of giving and generosity reflect God’s own generosity and grace towards us. When we give, we do so without expectation of anything in return. We give from our heart, as God has led and guided us by His Spirit. Giving is not to be done out of a sense of guilt or obligation, but as a response of gratitude for what God has already done for us.
If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can do so by giving online or by finding one of the offering boxes near the doors on a Sunday morning.
